Elder Bright Will Have You Feeling Nostalgic With “Thrifted Misery”

Elder Bright are excited to announce their brand new single “Thrifted Misery”. Releasing on August 14th 2024, “Thrifted Misery” will have you feeling nostalgic to your early days of posting music on MySpace and looking for your favourite band t-shirt at HotTopic. The track with its heavy garage beat, and alternative punk vocals will have you up on your feet moving and grooving along with every kick of the bass drum.

Elder Bright, who hails from Wilmington, North Carolina is a dynamic guitar centric group that adventures the techniques of early 2000s garage, post-hardcore, & indie rock with a mix of nostalgia from the 1970’s. With compositions that influence longing memories of the past, Elder Bright looks to cater their unique musical identity to gather listeners. Formed in 2022 as a solo venture of vocalist & guitarist, Braden Willis, Elder Bright would transform into a collaborative enterprise with the addition of bassist, Eli Somersett, and the subsequent following of founding Slumberwave members – Ken Hardy and Jesse Ray. With a calling in the DIY music scene, Elder Bright values alluring live performances, and a sense of community. As Elder Bright continues to evolve their music and push forward creatively, the band remains committed to the underground ethos and is sure to distinguish themselves in the music scene.
